Kickboxing vs the Gym
Most do not stick to a conventional workout for the simple reason; it’s not a lot of fun and requires a lot of self discipline to keep oneself on the regiment. Using equipment to get into shape has little longevity as a workout for the average person.
Moving weights around in gym is not a skill and does not have the rewards of acquiring a skill such as kickboxing or even dancing. The longer you train kickboxing the more familiar and proficient you become and the training becomes more enjoyable. In contrast the longer the average person spends using weights and machines the more tiresome the routine becomes.
Ever watch a professional body builder or long distance runner do there thing? Do you sit back and say, wow! Looks like a lot of fun. Ever watch a professional Kickboxer slam the bag? You get my point.

When an individual can get into shape doing something that is fun and easy with great rewards, you have a winning combination for a workout that people will stick to. This is why Kickboxing classes are becoming the workout of choice among women. Kickboxing techniques are very easy to learn for women of all ages and body types, and the participant will feel like a kick boxer in training at their first lesson. |

Women can develop the body they want and feel empowered at the same time. With attacks on women as common as they are, kickboxing is also considered a great foundation for any self defense system.
